Old Gold Summer '26: Little Lark at Guild Row

Let’s exchange the experience! Old Gold is back for our fourth summer season celebrating queer community connection, joy and healing under the Chicago sun. Featuring all-vinyl sets curated by the Good Girls DJs and friends (Lori Branch, Lady D & VITIGRRL) with award-winning hospitality by The Little Lark (Meadowlark Hospitality), Old Gold takes place Second Sundays June-September 2-7pm.

Tickets: This year, we are offering summer passes that guarantee entry to all four events for $95 ($150 value) and include a gift bag with gifts from us and our event partners, including a complimentary cocktail from The Little Lark, Don Julio Blanco minis, Vacation Sunscreen and more. Ticket structure: $20 early bird, $25 general admission and $30 day of/door (pending availability).  Please note that we assess space capacity in real time and therefore recommend advance purchase for guaranteed entry.

Old Gold is a collaboration between the Good Girls DJs (Lady D, Lori Branch & VITIGRRL) and Slo ‘Mo founder “Party Mom” Kristen Kaza. We are an intergenerational group of spacemakers and friends who use our collective wisdom to bridge eras of Chicago culture and its rich history of conjuring the healing power of music and in-person connection. Old Gold gives us the freedom to have fun and experiment with the uniqueness of all-vinyl curation, evoking a time when feeling the music was the whole point. Anything can happen! We are grateful for your trust to shepherd the collective experience.

Old Gold is a group project: Everyone’s energy contributes to the space. In an effort to protect the uniquely vibrant and healing environment our spaces are beloved for, we ask that you engage with matters of conflict or confusion with compassion, calm and personal accountability. We are always here for clarifying conversations and growth opportunities, but we are not one-way service providers. Keep it cute, keep it grown! Let’s cherish this space we make together; that’s how we build the kind of longevity so many of us long for.

Getting there: The Little Lark is a pizzeria, bar & patio concept from the award-winning Meadowlark Hospitality (named 50 Best Bars in the World) located within Guild Row at 3132 Rockwell Avenue at the corner of Belmont Avenue in Avondale on Chicago’s Northwest side. There is a Divvy bike station and bike racks located directly in front of the venue, and the Belmont bus drops off just yards away. While there is street parking available, we strongly recommend public transit, biking and rideshare. Note that there is a street festival on June 14 and we strongly recommend planning ahead for traffic and challenging parking.

Accessibility and experience: The Little Lark & Guild Row are fully wheelchair accessible spaces, including an outdoor patio and covered indoor space that is accessible by open garage doors to allow for air and music flow. Music amplification is set up outside on the patio with no additional amplification inside the venue. We suggest bringing earplugs if you are sensitive to sound, and anything else you need to be comfortable. Water stations and gender neutral bathrooms will be available. There is an abundance of seating and we encourage breaks, as well as clocking some quality time on the dance floor! There will be photography and video documentation and you agree to your likeness being captured by purchasing a ticket to the event. The Little Lark will have a menu of pizzas, salads and snacks and drinks available for purchase.
